I hope that all of you can learn to love math as much as I do! Fortunately for those who don't there are a ton of fun websites to help you. I encourage you to focus on the strand of math that is hardest for you, number sense (facts), algebra (variables), measurement (metric and customary systems), geometry (shapes), or data and statistics (probability). I have linked great websites to my pages.
I also encourage families to play math games at home. This can be easy and inexpensive! A deck of cards or dice is all you need to start a fun math night at home.
You can also use some of the following websites to work on your math skills!
This is a GREAT website with 99 online activities. You can type in the strand or name of a lesson for possible activities. This site is provided by the National Council Teacher of Mathematics. http://illuminations.nctm.org/ActivitySearch.aspx
